- Drink as much water as possible: Water helps us eliminate all excesive toxines that come form food, and it keeps our kidneys clean. Additionally, water keeps us hidrated, and helps us regulate our body temperature. This means your skin and hair will look hidrated 24/7, and you can maintain the average body temperature, no matter how hot or cold it is outside.
- Eat your fruits and veggies, always!: Fruits and vegetables have all of the necessary minerals and vitamins you'll need to get straight A's, keep up your social life, and all the other things us teenagers care about.
- Be organized: Stress and lack of sleep are two factors that are related to weight gain. If you're organized, you'll have time for leisure, and extra hours of sleep, which will keep you relaxed and skinny. Yay!
- Try to workout, ocasionally!: I know, I know I said it's hard for us to work out because we're always busy, either with school or friends or Netflix. But a 40-minute walk at least twice a week helps you burn a few calories, so you can eat your chocolate-chip cookies without felling guilty after every bite.
- Watch out for those calories!: This little phrase might suggest you have to become a calorie-counting-frenzy-disfunctional robot. But you don't, actually. If you work out often, then calories are nothing to worry about. But, for those of us who can barely keep up with P.E. let alone, sports, calories are a frenemy. If you don't have the time to work out often, save the calorie-loading for weekends full of burguers, pizza and bacon. On every other day -yes, this includes holidays- eat healthy, greens, salad, and stuff like that so we can treat ourselves on the weekend.
Staying fit is easy!
